Bird species that travel from northern breeding grounds to winter in Sri Lanka. The Central Asian Flyway brings over 80 species to Wilpattu between October and March. Highlights include Indian Pittas, Blue-tailed Bee-eaters, Greater Flamingos, and Eurasian Spoonbills. The peak birding months are November through February.
