What is DWC (Department of Wildlife Conservation)?

The Sri Lankan government authority responsible for protecting and managing the country's national parks and wildlife. The DWC manages all inside-park bungalows, issues safari entry permits, and enforces park regulations. All visitors to Wilpattu must pay DWC entry fees.
